OC Sheriff's: Student brought knife on bus

A McConnelsville Elementary School student is charged with criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly bringing a switchblade knife on his school bus. The Oneida County Sherriff's Deparment is not releasing the child's name, but say the juvenile has been suspended from school and the case is being referred to the juvenile probation department. Deputies say a bus aide retreived the knife while the student was showing it off on the bus this morning. They say he never threatened to use the weapon.
