DOT breaks ground in Route 12 corridor work

 

The towns of Kirkland, New Hartford and Marshall will see inprovements at intersections along the Route 12 corridor.

A ground breaking this morning in Kirkland began the [Article]#160;2.3-million dollar project.

The intersections to be improved are Red Hill Road and Kellogg Street in the town of Kirkland, Tibbitts Road in the town of New Hartford and Summit Road in the town of Marshall.

Department of Transportation Commissioner Astrid Glynn says the project is being used to improve safety, cut down on delays and improve the design of the intersections.
