Madison County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a head-on collision between
a car and a farm tractor.

Deputies say 28-year old Brian Claxton of Morrisville was southbound on River Road
in the Town of Lebanon yesterday morning when the tractor crossed into his lane.

It took members of the Eaton and Morrisville Fire Departments more than an hour to
extricate Claxton from his car.

Claxton was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse with serious injuries.

The operator of the tractor, 38-year old Robert Bagnell of Hamilton, was not injured.

No charges have been filed at this time.
