Utica Police say they've spoken to the man who was seen outside the North Utica Pool earlier this week and have determined he was there for a legitimate reason.

According to police, the man came into the police station. They say his intentions were not criminal.

Utica Police also say this incident is not related to the one being investigated by Whitestown Police.

Pool officials alerted Police after the individual asked the whereabouts of a particular child then left the area.
