Rome Woman Charged With Forging Contracts

New Hartford Police have charged a Rome woman with forging contracts
at the Verizon Wireless Store on Seneca Turnpike.

Police say 23-year old Amanda Fox allegedly signed the name of another
woman in order to purchase two cell phones and activate two contracts.

The unauthorized purchases came to light when the other woman received the
unpaid bill.

Fox was charged with forgery, petty larceny and identity theft.
