41-year old Royce Beck of Ava is in custody after turning himself in over the weekend.

State Police have charged Beck with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting
it, a felony.

Beck is charged in connection with a hit and run accident on Osceola Road in The Town
of Lewis that killed 54-year old Debra Royce of Holland Patent last Wednesday night.

He's being held in the Lews County jail without bail.

The investigation into the accident is continuing and additional charges are possible.
