The Utica Arson Task Force is investigating the cause of a fire that happened last night in a
vacant house at 916 Stark Street.

The fire started on the first floor of the two-story building.

Chief Fire Marshal Raymond Beck says the building has been vacant since an April 16th
cellar fire.

Beck says the cause of that fire was ruled accidential due to a natural gas leak from a water
heater.
