The Oneida County Re-Entry Task Force has received a nearly 257-thousand dollar
grant from the state Division of Criminal Justice Services.
The Re-Entry Task Force is designed to help inmates make the transition from prison
back into the community.
District Attorney Scott McNamara. says that includes helping them find jobs and providing them with mental health services.
The Task Force works in collaboration with the Second Chance Project, operated by the
Workforce Investment Board and the Oneida County Office of Workforce Development.
