A judge in the town of Steuben has recused himself from the case of a man accused of DWI in a fatal accident earlier this month.
Les Lewis, the attorney for 23-year-old Brandon Razzano, who is accused of killing Laura Gribneau in the crash, says the judge knew the families involved in the case.
Lewis also says he believes the building at the corner of Route 274 and Soule Road, which was demolished earlier this week, played a role in the accident.
It is not yet known who the new judge assigned to the case will be or the next time Razzano will appear in court.
