For the second year in a row, Utica Mayor David Roefaro is taking his budget to the taxpayers. Roefaro will host three Tax Talk sessions throughout the city this week. The first will take place tomorrow at 11:00 at the North Utica Senior Center. Other Tax Talks will be held on Wednesday at the Parkway Recreation Center and Thursday at the West Utica Senior Center. Roefaro is also uging Utica residents to attend a public hearing on the budget on Wednesday night at 6:30 at City Hall. The Mayor's budget proposal would raise property taxes by 18%.
