Oneida County Sheriff Dan Middaugh has released a "snaphot" of 2009 stastistics on various Sheriff's Office operations. Last year, the Law Enforcement Division responded to 12,234 complaints and executed 802 criminal warrants. There were 1,916 arrests made and the Criminal Investigation Unit investigated 729 serious crimes. Deputies investigated 1,434 motor vehicle accidents, issued 7,453 traffic tickets and made 263 DWI arrests. Total jail admissions were 4,090. And the Sheriff's Office generated $5.7 million in revenue for the County in 2009.
